Caged Fury, featured in Dragon's Dogma 2, is an Archistaff designed for Sorcerers. This weapon drains from health-related energies, growing stronger as the caster's vitality increases. It delivers highly potent magical and physical attacks. This weapon is not dropped by enemies and can be purchased from merchants.
An archistaff with a cage that holds a font of magickal energy. Responds to the caster's state of mind, and grows more powerful the greater their Health.
How to get Caged Fury and Map Location
Caged Fury is sold for 68,000 G, and only once the game has been completed, in the Unmoored World or on New Game Plus. Five smiths stock it:
- Merchant: Roderick's Smithy in Vernworth
- Merchant: Grisha's Armory in Sacred Arbor
- Merchant: Celeste's Smithy in Checkpoint Rest Town
- Merchant: Awaran's Arms in Bakbattahl
- Merchant: Brokkr's Smithy in Bakbattahl
- Not dropped by any Enemies

Smithing Upgrade Guide
Every weapon can be enhanced three times at an armoury or smithy, each time for gold and the materials listed below, and a fourth time with Wyrmfire. Any armoury or smithy works on weapons and armour alike. Each smith works in one style, and you can mix styles from one level to the next.
- Vermundian raises every attribute moderately. Armouries and smithies in Vermund offer it, such as Roderick's Smithy and Bjorn's Armory in Vernworth.
- Elven raises Magick and Magick Defense greatly, Strength and Defense only a little. Grisha's Armory in Sacred Arbor offers it.
- Battahli raises Strength and Defense greatly, Magick and Magick Defense only a little. Armouries in Battahl offer it, such as Awaran's Arms and Bodas's Armory in Bakbattahl.
- Dwarven raises Knockdown Power and Knockdown Resistance. Sara at Brokkr's Smithy offers it after Steeled Resolve, Blazing Forge, and Gautstafr after Put a Spring in Thy Step.
- Wyrmfire halves the weight and gives a further boost once the first three enhancements are done. The Dragonforged at Bay Wayside Shrine takes payment in Wyrmslife Crystals instead of gold.

Taking Caged Fury to level 3 costs 31,960 G in all, whichever style you choose. Elven smithing gives it the most Magick at level 3 (602), while Dwarven gives the most Knockdown Power (192). Wyrmfire then costs 15 Wyrmslife Crystals.
