The Daedric Battleaxe is one of the best two-handed weapons in Skyrim. The Daedric Axe has the second highest damage of all of the obtainable battleaxes in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Its damage is only rivalled by the Dragonbone Battleaxe. The weapon has two heads, the forward facing one is larger than the other, both have a serrated edge, which a common design feature unique to Daedric weapons.

How to Get the Daedric Battleaxe Location

Where to find the Daedric Battleaxe Location?

There are multiple methods to get Daedric Weapons early in Skyrim.

To get a Daedric Battleaxe early without the smithing skill you can purchase it from the Dremora Merchant with the Black Market power.
You can power level your smithing skill to level 90 and get the Daedric Smithing perk to craft a Daedric Battleaxe. It can be crafted at a blacksmith’s forge using the following materials: Ebony Ingot, Daedra Heart, Leather Strips.
Unenchanted Daedric Battleaxe's can be found as random loot in chests after you reach level 46+ and enchanted Daedric Battleaxe can be found at level 47+. However the chance of them appearing are very low. Blacksmiths and general goods merchants have a chance to sell Daedric Battle axe. You can reset their inventory by saving the game, attacking them and then reloading.

Gameplay Tips and Tricks

The Daedric Battleaxe used to be the best Battleaxe in the original version of Skyrim. The Dawnguard add-on introduces superior Dragonbone Battleaxe which do an additional 1 damage and can even be obtained relatively early during the Dawnguard Questline.

Weapon Levels

Some weapons in Skyrim are Levelled. The power of a levelled weapon is based on your charcters level when you get them. Some get stronger in both physical and magical aspects, while others only improve their enchantments. These items don't get better as your character levels up.
