How to get Daedric Weapons

Daedric weapons are exceptionally rare, only obtainable through specific locations, quests or purchases. Click on the weapon pages for a guide on how to find each daedric weapon.

• Unenchanted Daedric weapons begin surfacing in Skyrims world at level 46, while enchanted variants become available at level 47. However the chance of them appearing are very low. Blacksmiths and general goods merchants have a low chance to sell Daedric weapons. You can reset their inventory by saving the game, attacking them and then reloading.
• To get Daedric weapons early without the smithing skill you can purchase it from the Dremora Merchant with the Black Market power.
• For those inclined to craft their own Daedric weapons, a blacksmith's forge can be utilized with Daedra Heart, Ebony Ingot, and Leather Strips as essential components. Crafting Daedric weapons requres a Smithing skill level of 90 and the Daedric Smithing perk. Upgrading is possible with an Ebony Ingot, and the Daedric Smithing perk doubles the damage improvement.
• Some Daedric weapons, like the Daedric Mace can be crafted without smithing by using the Atronach Forge. To do this you must complete the quest Conjuration Ritual Spell which requres level 90 conjuration skill and the Sigil Stone which is obtained during the quest. Once you have these tools you can craft the Daedric Mace at the Atronach Forge under the College of Winterhold.
• The Daedric Crossbow can be found at level 1 at a fixed location.
