Tsun's Battleaxe is the weapon of Tsun, who wields it in Sovngarde during the main quest. Its damage depends on level and reaches 27 at its strongest. Only console commands can add it to the inventory.

Weapon Levels

Some weapons in Skyrim are Levelled. The power of a levelled weapon is based on your charcters level when you get them. Some get stronger in both physical and magical aspects, while others only improve their enchantments. These items don't get better as your character levels up.

Tsun's Battleaxe has the same damage at every character level.

Tsun

Tsun is the Nord god of trials against adversity. He guards the Whalebone Bridge that leads to the Hall of Valor in Sovngarde. His battleaxe looks like an Ancient Nord Battleaxe, but it is heavier and hits much harder. He wears it with his own unique armor.

When the Dragonborn reaches Sovngarde, Tsun stops the way across the bridge. He asks what brings a "wayfarer grim" to wander in Sovngarde, "souls-end, Shor's gift to honored dead." Every answer leads to the same trial. Tsun must be beaten in combat before the bridge can be crossed.

The Bridge Fight

Tsun fights with his two-handed axe and with Dragon Shouts of his own. He is a hard opponent, but he does not die. Once his Health falls far enough, he yields and lets the Dragonborn pass on to the Hall of Valor.

After Alduin falls, Tsun appears once more. He teaches the Call of Valor shout and sends the Dragonborn back to Skyrim. The shout summons one of the heroes of Sovngarde, Gormlaith Golden-Hilt, Felldir the Old or Hakon One-Eye, to fight for a short time.
