Starfield:Weapon Effects
In Starfield number of different weapon effects can applied to weapons based on their rarity level. Both weapons and armor sets have different weapon rarity levels like: Rare, Epic, Legendary. Each of these levels comes with several possible weapon effects listed in the table below. Note that weapon effects are diffrent to armor effects.
Weapon effects are randomised when you find the weapon. You can keep reloading to before you picked up or killed an enemy wielding a legendary weapon or armor set until you get the legendary effects that best match your character build. However, uniquely named weapons always have fixed effects that cannot be altered.
The difficulty you play on will increase your chance of obtaining legendary weapons and armor sets by 0.5% on Hard difficulty and 1% on Very Hard difficulty.
