Toussaint knight's tourney boots are the best boots in the game. It is a pair of heavy boots from Blood and Wine, made in Master, Magic and Relic versions. The Relic version gives 105 armor, +500 vitality and +40% resistance to poisoning at level 48. That poison resistance is the highest of any trousers or boots. The Relic is crafted from a diagram won during Knight for Hire.

Why Players Pick It

The Relic version adds +7% piercing, bludgeoning and slashing resistance. Its vitality ties the Relic tourney trousers for the highest of any trousers or boots. The Magic version gives +6% piercing and slashing resistance, plus 1 random magic effect. The Master version gives +5%.

When to Use It

Looted Master copies are level 45 to 46, Magic copies are level 46 to 47, and the Relic needs level 48. All are found in Toussaint, so they are late game. Bought copies vary with Geralt's level.

How to Get Toussaint knight's tourney boots

Relic: during Knight for Hire, defeat Filibert Fourfingers atop Mont Crane Castle. Loot the book-like container on the table near him. It holds this diagram, the tourney trousers diagram and a journal. An armorer crafts the boots.
Magic: loot the chest of Relic diagrams near Loth Halfbreed at Tulasens Caves, or a dead knight in front of Lady Orianna's estate during The Night of Long Fangs. All armorers in Toussaint sell them.
Master: loot the big chest outside the Duchaton Crest cave, or the big chest left of Marcello Clerici's grave at Mont Crane Cemetery. All armorers in Toussaint sell them.

Notes

In NG+ the Relic version's level rises by the NG+ starting level, and its armor gains 2 per level.
