Toussaint knight's tourney gauntlets are the best gauntlets in the game. It is a pair of heavy gauntlets from Blood and Wine, made in Master, Magic and Relic versions. The crafted Relic version gives 101 armor at level 48. It also gives +500 vitality and +40% Bleeding resistance, both the highest of any gauntlets. Its diagram is north of Fort Astre Ruins.

Why Players Pick It

The Relic version adds +7% resistance to piercing, bludgeoning and slashing damage.

The Master and Magic versions start at 3 armor and gain 2 armor per level. The Master version gives +5% piercing and slashing resistance. The Magic version gives +6% piercing and slashing resistance, plus 1 random Magic effect.

When to Use It

They are late game Blood and Wine gear, found in Toussaint. Looted Master copies are level 45 to 46, Magic copies are level 46 to 47, and the crafted Relic needs level 48.

Versions

The same name exists in 3 versions, each with its own figures.

How to Get Toussaint knight's tourney gauntlets

Relic: loot the diagram from the bandit camp north of Fort Astre Ruins. It can also be in the guarded treasure there, watched by the rabid rock troll known as "She-troll". An armorer crafts them.
Master: loot the fancy-looking chest near the Trading Post armorer. The chest appears after the Trading Post is repaired, if Geralt chooses to kill Iocaste. Toussaint armorers sell them.
Magic: take them from the reward chest of The Curse of Carnarvon, from a chest at the bottom of Troubleu near Diagram: Manticore gauntlets, or from a dead knight's body at Beauclair Palace near the bruxa fight in The Night of Long Fangs. Toussaint armorers sell them.

Notes

The Beauclair Palace copy only appears after Geralt reaches the playroom.
Bought copies vary in level. In NG+, the fixed levels rise by the NG+ starting level.
