A Walk on the Waterfront is a secondary quest in Novigrad. East of the Novigrad docks, bandits are harassing a nobleman named Ginter de Lavirac. He wants a bodyguard for a stroll through a rough part of the city. His rich clothes alone could get him killed there, so Geralt agrees to help.

- Stop the bandits harassing Ginter east of the Novigrad docks.
- Agree to take a walk with Ginter.
- Escort the nobleman down the waterfront.
- Defeat the three groups of thugs on the way.
- Keep Ginter alive in every fight.
- Reach the meeting with the fisstech dealers.
- Decide whether to back Ginter in the deal.

Choices
The walk ends at a deal with fisstech dealers. Ginter buys narcotics for important clients and introduces Geralt as his gardener. The dealers then ask for a thousand crowns more than agreed. If Geralt backs Ginter, the dealers back down and Ginter pays him. If Geralt refuses, the dealers kill Ginter and pay Geralt the same sum.
