Strumpet in Distress is a short secondary quest in Novigrad. It starts south of the Novigrad Docks, where a hooded man seems to threaten a strumpet. Geralt steps in to help. The scene turns out to be something quite different.

Strumpet in Distress map location:
- Walk south of the Novigrad Docks signpost.
- Find the hooded man threatening a woman.
- Step in and talk to the pair.
- Hear the woman say she can handle it alone.
- Pick an answer: use Axii, threaten the man, offer to make him leave, or simply walk away.
- Watch the pair reveal the truth.

Choices
The woman asks Geralt to leave. He can walk away, and the quest ends there. He can also stay and use Axii, threaten the hooded man, or say he can make the man leave.
Unless Geralt leaves, the pair admit they were only acting to get in the mood. Geralt has spoiled their game. Axii earns 30 XP. Offering to make the man leave earns 10 XP.

Axii needs the Delusion skill at level 1.
