Enchanting: Start-up Costs is a secondary quest from Hearts of Stone. It begins with a notice on the board at the Seven Cats Inn. The notice tells of a mysterious runewright from a far-off land. He needs a small fortune before he can start his work.

- Take the notice A Runewright Upon Your Shores Has Landed from the notice board at the Seven Cats Inn.
- Follow the marker to the Upper Mill signpost.
- Enter the runewright's tent and talk to him about his craft.
- Gather 5,000 crowns if the purse is short.
- Give the 5,000 crowns to the Ofieri runewright.
