The Sword, Famine and Perfidy is a treasure hunt in the Hearts of Stone expansion. Near a nest of drowners on the shore near Novigrad, Geralt finds a body in a barricaded cellar. The dead man was not torn apart by monsters. Someone locked him in, and he died of thirst.
The Sword, Famine and Perfidy Quest Guide
- Go to the hut by the shore northwest of the Cavern signpost.
- Kill the drowners around the hut.
- Search the body in the hut for the Dirtied Letter and read it.
- Clear the barrels from the hatch and go down into the cellar.
- Take Brother Anselm's letter and the key from the body.
- Read Brother Anselm's letter.
- Find the sunken ship with Witcher Senses.
- Kill the drowners at the wreck.
- Unlock the chest on the ship and loot it.
