Witcher Senses
Witcher Senses let Geralt focus his heightened senses to see clues and tracks no ordinary human could. They are used heavily in witcher contracts and investigations.
How It Works
On PC, hold the right mouse button by default to use Witcher Senses. Interactive objects and clues glow red. Objects already examined turn yellow. Sounds show up as visible sound waves, so Geralt can find where they come from. Scent trails can be followed too. A tuft of werewolf fur, for example, makes the werewolf's scent trail visible.
Toggle Option
Remastered adds a Toggle Witcher Sense option. It switches Witcher Senses on and off without holding the button. The option is part of the Bard's Ballad accessibility preset. That preset is offered when starting a new game on Just the Story difficulty, or later from the Accessibility section of the settings. Each of its options can be switched on or off.
Mutations
The mutation Metamorphosis also makes Witcher Senses see better in dark places.
