Real Dimez is a rap duo made up of Bae-Luxe and Roxy. The two women have been friends since high school. They found a way to turn shaking down local dealers into hard cash. Their spicy rap tracks and relentless social media presence keep them in the public eye. The duo is now signed to Only Raw Records and is chasing a second big hit.
All my dimes in this club. Meet my twin, make it a dub.
Story
Bae-Luxe and Roxy built their act on their own street experience. What they learned in petty crime now shapes the way they run their music careers. An early hit single with the local rapper DWNPLY lifted the duo to new heights. Five years and plenty of trouble have passed since that breakthrough. Their fame has faded, and the momentum from that first hit has stalled. Signing with Dre'Quan Priest's label gives them a fresh start. Bae-Luxe and Roxy hope that lightning can strike twice.
The duo live out loud on social media. Viral videos and catchy hooks are at the heart of their act. Crowds gather to film them as they dance on the bonnet of a car. Fans hold up their phones and cheer while the two perform.
In the studio, the pair record their tracks side by side at the microphones. Bae-Luxe also sits in the studio with a pair of headphones in her hands. Away from the studio, Roxy takes the wheel while Dre'Quan rides beside her.
Real Dimez are as much social media stars as they are rappers.
Relationships
Bae-Luxe and Roxy are the two members of Real Dimez. Dre'Quan Priest signed the duo to Only Raw Records. He poses with the pair, a hand resting on each of their shoulders. Boobie Ike, the money behind the label, also has a stake in their success. DWNPLY is the local rapper who shared their early hit single.
Location
Real Dimez make their music in Vice City. The city is a coastal playground of white beaches and pastel art deco hotels. Its music scene is where Dre'Quan and the duo hope to make their name.
