Ashrune is a Relic steel sword from the base game with 3 rune slots. Its fixed bonus is a 5% chance to freeze. One copy sits in a chest right beside the Yngvar's Fang signpost on An Skellig. The level is set when the sword drops, so the Skellige copy fits any stage of the game.
The other bonuses roll on each copy: +1-5% crit damage, +1-3% chance to dismember and +1-2% bonus experience from humans and nonhumans. Its 3 rune slots hold three runestones or one runeword, which fills all three slots of a sword. A Zoria runestone adds 2, 3 or 5% more freeze chance, by runestone tier.
