Graham is a simple fisherman from Oreton, a village in northern Velen. He loves Anabelle, the daughter of the local lord. Geralt meets him during the quest A Towerful of Mice.
Lore
Graham comes from a simple village, yet he plays a key part in the tragedy of Fyke Isle, its tower and its curse. He and Anabelle shared deep feelings for each other. He tried to defend Anabelle and fled the island when he believed she was dead.
Story
On Fyke Isle, Geralt learns that Anabelle's spirit is the key to the curse. The ghost asks him to bring her bones to Graham, so that he can bury them. Geralt's choice decides Graham's fate.
If Geralt carries the bones to Graham, the fisherman admits that he let the peasants onto the island before the massacre. He did not know that Anabelle was still alive when she drank the poison. Geralt leaves the bones with him. Soon after, a scream comes from Graham's cabin. Graham lies dead among rats, and Anabelle floats above him as a plague maiden. The curse is broken, but the ghost of the plague is now free, and Graham is its first victim.
If Geralt refuses and confronts the ghost, she shows her true form as a plague maiden. Geralt then fetches Graham, who hears there is a slim chance to save his beloved's spirit. He sets out at once to help lift the curse. At the top of the tower, Graham says he never meant to leave her and still loves her. He proves it with a kiss. Anabelle returns to human form, and Graham dies with her. The curse is lifted.
Relationships
Anabelle is the woman Graham loves. Their love ends in tragedy whichever way the curse is broken.
