High Stakes is a secondary quest in Novigrad. A gwent tournament is held at the Passiflora, a brothel in the city. The high entry fee and strict deck rules keep out the amateurs, so only rich professionals take part. Geralt signs up for a night of serious cards. The night soon turns into a hunt for stolen prize money.

Choices
During the tournament, Sasha makes a brazen offer: the two of them should steal the prize money together. Before Geralt can answer, another player steals it first. Hearing Sasha out opens the hunt for the thief.
The thief is Bernard, a halfling posing as a farmer. He hides with the coin in one of the city's warehouses. After the fight, Sasha turns out to be Cantarella, a Nilfgaardian agent whose cover is blown. She needed the coin to leave the city. She invites Geralt to dinner, and he can accept or decline. Accepting leads to a night together before she leaves.
