The Perks of Being a Jailbird is a secondary quest in the Blood and Wine expansion. It only appears during Burlap is the New Stripe, when Geralt is locked up in the Toussaint prison. That happens only if Syanna was killed. In the prison yard, Geralt finds a secret stash the inmates use for trade.

1. Use Witcher Senses in the prison yard to find a loose brick in the wall, left of the large gate.
2. Take the notes from the stash behind the brick.
3. Read the notes.
4. Search the wheelbarrow below the guards' wooden platform for a hammer and chisel.
5. Hide the hammer and chisel in the stash.
6. Wait seven days.
7. Check the prison stash and take the Prison Poster.

Choices

A fellow inmate wants a hammer and chisel so he can escape. If Geralt hides the tools in the stash and waits seven days, he finds a placard in return.
