History

Toussaint is a duchy, and its duchess holds the power. Anna Henrietta rules from her palace in Beauclair, the capital. Her court loves its tourneys and the ideals of knighthood. Knights-errant are a common sight on the roads of the duchy.

The duchy is famous above all for its wine, and its wineries are magnificent. Its vineyard estates include Castel Ravello, Casteldaccia and Coronata. Behind this fairy-tale face, Toussaint is torn by a series of savage murders when Geralt arrives.

Geography

Toussaint is a sunny land of vineyards, fields and hills. Beauclair is its capital, with the duchess's palace and its gardens at the heart of the city. The tourney grounds lie outside the city walls. Elsewhere in the duchy lie the Sansretour Valley, Mount Gorgon and Dun Tynne. Geralt receives a vineyard estate of his own here, Corvo Bianco, which becomes his home.

Story

Two knights of the duchess, Palmerin de Launfal and Milton de Peyrac-Peyran, find Geralt in Velen. They bring him south to face the Beast that torments the duchy. Geralt joins the duchess at a chivalric tourney and hunts the killer through Beauclair.

The Beast of Beauclair turns out to be Dettlaff van der Eretein, a Higher Vampire. The trail leads to Syanna, the duchess's sister. The story ends in different ways, depending on the choices Geralt makes.
