- Play Paperchase in Toussaint.
- Choose to wait a week.
- Giacomo Cianfanelli then gives Geralt the sword as a reward.
The Reckoner Map Location and Quest Guide
The pin marks Paperchase, a Blood and Wine secondary quest about an account in Geralt's name at the Cianfanelli Bank in Beauclair. Giacomo Cianfanelli adds The Reckoner to the payout after an agreement to wait a week instead of fighting the guards.
- Speak to the vineyard owner who calls out to Geralt in Beauclair. He opened an account for Geralt at the Cianfanelli Bank.
- Go to the bank during opening hours and talk to the teller. She sends Geralt for Permit A38.
- Ask for the permit at Window 1, then at the records room upstairs. The clerk there wants Form 202.
- Beat the angry customer who confronts Geralt outside the records room.
- Wait on the bench by the tellers, then flatter the teller at the middle window.
- Follow Giacomo Cianfanelli down to the safe deposits.
- Choose to give him a week instead of threatening him.
- Return a week later. Cianfanelli pays out and adds The Reckoner.
