The Bow of Shadows is an artifact bow from the Bow of Shadows Creation, with 19 base damage, the same as a Daedric Bow. It is taken from the assassin who threatens the Jarl of Whiterun, on the upper floor of Dragonsreach, during In the Shadows.
Weapon Enchantment
The bow draws 20% faster than normal. It also casts invisibility on the wielder for 30 seconds.

The Bow of Shadows is taken from an assassin on the upper floor of Dragonsreach. In the Shadows begins with a note from the Jarl's steward, Proventus Avenicci.
- Read the Steward's Note.
- Take the ledger copy at Arcadia's Cauldron and read it.
- Investigate the Hall of the Dead and the stables.
- Investigate the Silent Moons Camp.
- Find the Assassin on the upper floor of Dragonsreach.
- Kill the Assassin and take the Bow of Shadows.
- Speak to the Jarl's steward.

Weapon Levels
Some weapons in Skyrim are Levelled. The power of a levelled weapon is based on your charcters level when you get them. Some get stronger in both physical and magical aspects, while others only improve their enchantments. These items don't get better as your character levels up.
Bow of Shadows has the same damage at every character level.
