Where to Find the Grand Staff of Charming Location?
- Bought from spell merchants rather than blacksmiths, who will not stock a staff at all. The selection is random and level dependent, and this one enters the pool at level 34.
- Found in random loot, and carried by mages and necromancers of the appropriate school.
- The court wizard in each hold and the College of Winterhold are the most reliable places to check.
- Yngvild Throne Room
- Required for the quest Onmund's Request
- While the game's code implies this was originally intended to be a staff carrying the Pacify spell, it instead is simply a Staff of Calm with more charges. The Pacify staff enchantment is used by an unknown item instead.
- As a result, it has the same differences: Calm's magnitude is 9, not 8.
