Fur Cap Brown is more clothing than armour. You buy it from Hildir at her camp in the Meadows rather than crafting it, and it gives 1 armour.
Notes
- Armor lowers physical, fire, frost and lightning damage, but poison and spirit damage go straight through it.
- While your armor is less than half of a hit's damage, it is simply subtracted from the hit. Once it reaches half the damage or more, the damage taken becomes the damage squared divided by four times your armor, so doubling your armor halves the damage you take.
- Your armor rating is the total of the helmet, chest, leg and cape pieces you wear.
