Aerondight is a Relic silver sword from the Blood and Wine expansion. It deals 414-506 damage at level 35 and grows stronger with every kill made on a full charge. The Lady of the Lake gives it to Geralt at Lac Célavy after the secondary quest There Can Be Only One.

Why Players Pick It

Each blow builds charges, and each charge raises the sword's damage by 10%. Once the sword is fully charged, every hit deals crit damage. Killing a foe with a full charge raises the sword's damage permanently, by up to 10 per character level.

Its level matches Geralt's level when he receives it, with a minimum of 35. Its damage scales by 9-11 per level. Fully upgraded, the level 35 sword deals 423-517. Up to 3 rune slots can be added to it.

When to Use It

Aerondight arrives at level 35 or above in Toussaint, so it is late game. Blood and Wine is recommended from level 34.

How to Get Aerondight

Complete quests that cover all five chivalric virtues.
Finish the secondary quest There Can Be Only One.
Receive the sword from the Lady of the Lake at Lac Célavy.

Notes

The sword takes Geralt's level when he receives it, so collecting it at a higher level gives a higher damage range.
