Azure Wrath is a Relic silver sword from the base game. It rolls +60-110 armor piercing and gives a fixed +12% chance to stun. It is looted from the Howler during Contract: Mysterious Tracks near Lindenvale in Velen. Its stats roll on the drop, so the Lindenvale copy can fit any stage of the game.
It also rolls +1-3% bonus experience from monsters and +1-3% bonus gold. Its +12% stun chance ties the Negotiator for the second highest of any silver sword, behind Cantata.
It has 3 rune slots. These can hold three runestones or one runeword, which fills all three slots of a sword.
How to Get Azure Wrath
- Take Contract: Mysterious Tracks near Lindenvale in Velen.
- Kill the Howler and loot the sword from it.
- It is also very rare random loot.
Azure Wrath Map Location and Quest Guide
The pin marks Contract: Mysterious Tracks, given by a hunter in Lindenvale in Velen. The relic Azure Wrath drops from the Howler, a chort lured back to its cave in a hill near the village.
- Take the contract from the Lindenvale notice board and talk to the hunter.
- Examine the dead wolves, then follow the tracks to the fur on a tree and pick up the scent.
- Follow the scent to a sharp cliff. Go around and up the hill, and drop into the cave through the hole northwest of the northernmost tree.
- Examine the fiend carcass, the tracks and the blood inside the cave.
- Craft the chort lure from fiend dung and crow's eye.
- Pour the bait at the four marked spots around the hill.
- Return to the cave, kill the Howler and loot it for Azure Wrath.
