Carabella is a Relic steel sword with 3 rune slots. It rolls +5-14% crit chance and has a 2% chance to freeze. Fixed copies lie on the remains of Ignis Fatuus in Velen and in a pirate leader's chest on Faroe. Both fixed copies roll their level on the drop, so they fit any stage of the game.
Its main stat is crit chance, rolled between 5% and 14% on each copy. A copy near the top of that range suits a build that stacks critical hits. The 2% chance to freeze is a small extra on hits.
How to Get Carabella
- During Contract: Swamp Thing in Crookback Bog, Velen, loot it from the remains of Ignis Fatuus.
- During Flesh for Sale, open the chest in the pirate leader's house in Trottheim on Faroe.
- It also drops as random loot.
Carabella Map Location and Quest Guide
The pin marks the chest in the pirate leader's house in Trottheim on Faroe in Skellige. The relic Carabella lies inside. The house opens during Flesh for Sale. Ignis Fatuus also carries one in Contract: Swamp Thing in Velen.
- Travel to Trottheim on Faroe, a village held by pirates.
- Approach a gate guard. The pirates take Geralt for Ville's man and lead the way to their leader.
- Deny being a slave trader, and kill the pirates.
- Loot the slave driver's body for his house key and the slave cell key.
- Unlock the slave cell to free the captives.
- Unlock the leader's house in the middle of the village and loot the chest for Carabella.
