Choices
The merchant asks 100 crowns for the pass. Paying in full ends the quest at once. Asking for another way and then using Axii at Delusion level 1 drops the price to 50 crowns.
Geralt can also offer to help the merchant's brother-in-law, Albin Hart, in Bitter Harvest. If Albin survives, the price drops to 25 crowns. If Albin dies and Geralt tells the merchant, he refuses to deal and the quest fails. Geralt can keep quiet about the death and buy the pass another way.
