Merchants

Merchants buy and sell goods across the world. Each type of merchant deals in its own wares. Merchants also buy junk and crafting materials. Most of them gather in villages, towns and cities.

Merchant Types

  • Shopkeepers sell general goods.
  • Blacksmiths sell weapons and craft them.
  • Armorers sell armor and craft it.
  • Alchemists and herbalists sell alchemy ingredients.
  • Innkeepers sell food and drink.
  • Vintners in Toussaint are wine merchants.

Each type has its own icon on the map.

Selling

Every merchant has a limited supply of crowns. Waiting or meditating for five days refills it. Merchants in big cities usually pay the most. Village merchants usually pay the least. Many merchants also pay more for the goods they deal in. Blacksmiths, for example, pay more for weapons.
