Lazare Lafargue is a master armorer and smith in Toussaint. His workshop stands in the Hauteville district of Beauclair. Geralt meets him in Blood and Wine, in the secondary quest Master Master Master Master!.

Lafargue learned his craft as the apprentice of an elven master armorer. That master has since died. Lafargue's greatest dream is to make the most perfect set of witcher gear. Doing so would meet the last requirement of his guild. He could then call himself a grandmaster.

Story

Lafargue posts a notice in Toussaint. He seeks a brave man to help him recover long lost diagrams. Geralt answers the notice and visits the workshop.

Lafargue knows where lost grandmaster diagrams from five witcher schools might be found. Geralt promises to find the diagrams. In return, Lafargue promises to make gear from them. Geralt asks him about the vanished witcher of each school. Each answer opens a new treasure hunt for one set: Feline, Griffin, Manticore, Ursine or Wolven.

At last Geralt brings him every diagram of one school. Lafargue is filled with joy. He can finally fulfil his dream and become a grandmaster. He has no doubt he will make a suit worthy of his late master. From then on, he crafts grandmaster witcher gear from the diagrams Geralt finds.
