Love's Cruel Snares is a secondary quest in Velen. It becomes available after Geralt clears out the abandoned site north of Condyle. A woman nearby is crying hard. Her fiancé went into the woods to check his snares and never came back. Geralt promises to find out what happened to him.

- Clear out the abandoned site north of Condyle.
- Talk to the crying woman who appears nearby.
- Use Witcher Senses to follow the tracks into the woods.
- Stay close to the tracks, or the quest fails.
- Kill the wild dogs gathered around a trap.
- Examine the body to confirm it is the missing fiancé.
- Return to the woman with the bad news.
- Accept or refuse her reward.
