Open Sesame: The Safecracker is part of the Hearts of Stone main quest Open Sesame!. Quinto, the best safecracker north of the Yaruga, can open the Borsodis' vault quietly. Casimir Bassi, a dwarf from Mahakam, can blow it to pieces. Geralt has to bring one of them onto the crew.
Open Sesame: The Safecracker Quest Guide
- Agree to the heist in Open Sesame! and set out to recruit the crew.
- Find Casimir Bassi on the roof of his house, holding a torch.
- Convince Casimir to take part in the robbery, or defeat him in a fistfight if he picks one.
- To hire Quinto instead, go to the mercenaries' camp.
- Talk to Quinto in his cage.
- Convince Hans of Cidaris to free Quinto by paying, playing gwent or fighting him.
- Recruit Quinto on the spot, or meet him at the Academy gate at midnight.
Choices
Casimir's wife has left him, and he plans to blow up himself and his house. Saying sorry makes him set off the blast. Calling him pathetic starts a fistfight, after which he joins. Axii with "Get down now" brings him down at once. Talking it out can lead to the blast or to a fight, depending on the next lines.
If Casimir dies, Quinto is the only safecracker left. Hans of Cidaris holds Quinto captive. Hans frees him for a payment, after a game of gwent, or after a fistfight.
