Casimir's wife cheated on him and then left him. The blow left him swinging between rage and despair.

Story

---

In Open Sesame: The Safecracker, Geralt must choose between two vault experts: the safecracker Quinto or the dwarf Casimir. Geralt finds Casimir on the roof of his house in Alness. He sits among barrels of explosives with a torch in hand, ready to blow up himself and his home. Geralt's words decide what happens next. One wrong answer, and Casimir lights the fuse. Mockery, persuasion or the Axii Sign can all talk him down, and he agrees to join the crew.

During the raid, Casimir does exactly what he was hired for. His well-placed explosives blow the vault door to pieces. The blast also knocks everyone off their feet and opens the way to the treasure.

In the vault, Ewald and Horst Borsodi face off, and Casimir stays loyal to Ewald. If Geralt also stands with Ewald and leaves him the papers, Casimir walks away loaded with riches. He forgets all about his unfaithful wife. If Geralt sides with Horst, or turns on Ewald over the papers, Casimir fights on the losing side and pays for it with his life.

Relationships

---

Casimir joins the crew of Ewald Borsodi, the man behind the heist, and backs him to the end. Quinto is the other candidate for his role.
