Open Sesame! is a main quest of Hearts of Stone. Olgierd's first wish is for Geralt to bring him the house of Maximilian Borsodi. The trail leads to the Borsodi auction house in Oxenfurt. Horst Borsodi greets Geralt with scorn and has him thrown out. A stranger then offers another way in: a robbery of the auction house vault.
Open Sesame! Map Location and Quest Guide
Open Sesame! map location:
- Go to the Borsodi auction house in Oxenfurt and ask for the owner.
- Go to the upper floor of the auction house.
- Meet Vivaldi's three friends, if wanted.
- Find Countess Mignole's earring with Witcher Senses, if she asks.
- Sit down and wait for the auction to start.
- Defeat the guards who throw Geralt out.
- Go to the herbalist's hut near Oxenfurt, deal with the Fallen Knights there and give the password.
- Talk to the Stranger and agree to the robbery.
- Recruit the rest of the crew in the three Open Sesame side quests.
- Return to the herbalist's hut to plan the robbery.
- Be at the gateway to the auction house around midnight.
- Defeat Horst Borsodi's men.
- Negotiate with the guards outside while the safecracker works on the vault.
- Go down into the vault, and defeat the monsters if Quinto is the safecracker.
- Search the vault for Maximilian's House and pick a side between the brothers.
- Defeat the brother Geralt turns against.
- Take Maximilian's House and find the secret way out with Witcher Senses.
- Take Maximilian Borsodi's House to Olgierd.

Choices
The crew needs a safecracker, and the choice of safecracker changes the fight in the vault. With Quinto, a pit full of monsters opens under Geralt's feet.
At the vault door the Stranger reveals himself as Ewald Borsodi, Horst's brother. Horst cheated Ewald out of his inheritance. Horst offers Geralt a bribe to switch sides. Geralt can stay with Ewald or side with Horst. The brother on Geralt's side kills the other one.
Maximilian's House is a golden casket that holds the will of the brothers' father. Geralt can demand the will as well. He must then kill the surviving brother. Geralt can also take only the casket and leave the will behind.
