Quinto is the most famous safecracker north of the Yaruga. He can open almost any lock in silence. Geralt can recruit him for the heist on the Borsodi auction house in Hearts of Stone, in the main quest Open Sesame: The Safecracker.
Story
Geralt is putting together a crew to break into the vault of the Borsodi auction house in Oxenfurt. A vault door can be opened in two ways. A skilled safecracker can tease it open in silence, or a demolitions expert can blow it to pieces. Quinto is the master of the first method. The dwarf Casimir Bassi is the expert for the second, and Geralt has to choose between them.
Quinto is held captive in a cage by a band of mercenaries led by Hans of Cidaris. Geralt has to free him first. Yet Quinto opens the lock of his cage with nothing but a fish bone. Geralt gets the feeling the safecracker could have walked out at any time. After this, he has no doubt that Quinto is the right man for the job.
During the heist, Quinto slips away while Geralt deals with the guards. He then opens the vault door in the blink of an eye, like a true artist. Inside the vault, Horst Borsodi offers the crew a chance to betray his brother Ewald and walk away free. Quinto takes the offer at once. He shows not one speck of loyalty to his companions. If Geralt does not go along with the betrayal to the end, Quinto fights against the witcher. He pays for this mistake with his life.
Relationships
Quinto joins the heist crew of Ewald Borsodi and then betrays him. Casimir Bassi is the other safecracker Geralt can choose.
