Ultimatum is a Relic steel sword with 3 rune slots. It rolls +5-10% Igni sign intensity and +4-23% crit damage, with an 8% chance to stagger. It comes only from the quest The Dead Have No Defense, south of Duen Hen in Velen. Each copy gets its level and damage on the drop.
Each copy also rolls +2-4% crit chance. The Igni bonus helps a signs build, while the crit rolls add to sword damage.

- Take Ultimatum during the quest.

The pin marks The Dead Have No Defense, a treasure hunt far south of Duén Hen on the shore northwest of Byways in Velen. The relic Ultimatum waits in the deserters' chest at the end of the hunt.
- Go to the hidden treasure far south of Duén Hen, on the shore northwest of Byways.
- Kill the deserters at the camp.
- Loot the bodies for the marauder's notes and a key, then read the notes.
- Head back inland and kill the deserters waiting there.
- Find the chest with Witcher Senses and loot it for Ultimatum.
