Vlodimir von Everec is the younger brother of Olgierd von Everec. He has been dead for years, but his ghost still lingers. Geralt summons him and lends him his body for one night in Hearts of Stone, in the main quest Dead Man's Party.
Lore
Vlodimir spent much of his life raiding and looting with a band of rough men. Even as a ghost, he shows hints of noble refinement. More often, though, he acts like a lifelong brawler or hooligan. He loves a good time, and he finds death sorely lacking in fun.
Story
One of Olgierd's wishes is for Geralt to show his brother Vlodimir the time of his life. Master Mirror gives Geralt a vial of von Everec blood and an incantation that can summon Vlodimir from the grave. Shani knows where the family crypt lies, and she goes there with Geralt. Geralt uses the old ritual of Blood Summoning in the crypt.
First, Geralt has to fight other dead members of the von Everec family. Only then does Vlod show himself. He explains that he refused to fight alongside his dead relatives, because he never liked them much. His wishes for the night are simple. He wants to get thoroughly drunk, and he badly misses the company of women.
Vlodimir jumps into Geralt's body, and the two go with Shani to a friend's wedding. Vlod finds more than enough fun there. He dives for a slipper in a pond, plays gwent, drinks enough for three horses, chases pigs, and even steals a kiss from Shani. During the night he also writes a letter to Olgierd in blood. That letter later convinces Olgierd that the task is done.
At midnight, Vlodimir's time among the living ends. Yet he likes the witcher's skin so much that he refuses to leave it. Only the arrival of Master Mirror forces him back where he came from. O'Dimm causes the ghost great pain as he banishes him.
Relationships
Olgierd von Everec is his older brother. Shani shares his night out at the wedding.
