Black Knight Commander Andreas summons the first leader of the Black Knights. He carries a hammer and a greatshield and commands the powers of the Crucible. He is built to hold the line and soak up damage. He suits summoners who want a tank that also hits hard.

How to Get Black Knight Commander Andreas Guide

In Fog Rift Catacombs, climb the stairs from the walkway watched by a glintstone sorcerer into a room with two Messmer Soldiers and a Black Knight.
An archway nearby overlooks a spike trap room.
Wait for the spike trap to drop, jump onto it and ride it up to a hidden corridor in the southeast corner.
The spirit ash lies in an open coffin at the end.

Combat

Andreas fights with a hammer and greatshield. He blocks attacks and answers with guard counters that hurt enemy poise. He is very hard to bring down. He can also spit out a long Crucible tongue to strike foes at a distance.

"The Black Knights were the primary force of Messmer's army. Their first leader was Andreas, a man of endowed with great strength and command over the powers of the Crucible, and whose spirit in these ashes dwells. Though he remained a devout follower of Messmer after his flight from the Erdtree, he would rebel after learning of his liege's serpentine nature. His righteous stand was rewarded with imprisonment in an underground tomb."
