The Master Sword is a crossover item and the only weapon on this wiki that comes from outside the Elder Scrolls entirely. It exists solely in the Nintendo Switch release of Skyrim, alongside a Champion's Tunic and a Hylian Shield, and it cannot be obtained on any other platform.
Weapon Enchantment
None. It is unenchanted, and at 235 gold it is worth almost nothing to sell, so its value is entirely in what it is rather than what it does.
Where to Find the Master Sword
- Scanning a compatible amiibo produces it.
- It also appears in a chest at the summit of the Throat of the World, which is the route for players without the amiibo.
Smithing Guide
The weapon is not enchanted, so no Arcane Blacksmith perk is needed to work on it.

Weapon Levels
Some weapons in Skyrim are Levelled. The power of a levelled weapon is based on your charcters level when you get them. Some get stronger in both physical and magical aspects, while others only improve their enchantments. These items don't get better as your character levels up.
