A Greedy God is a secondary quest in Velen. In ruins south of Wastrel Manor, two villagers kneel at an altar. Their god, the Allgod, has turned down their poor offerings. Geralt agrees to speak to the god for them. The quest needs the Eye of Nehaleni from Wandering in the Dark.
A Greedy God Map Location and Quest Guide
A Greedy God map location:
- Talk to Dagmar and Preben in the ruins south of Wastrel Manor.
- Address the Allgod using the altar.
- Use Witcher Senses to find the crack in the wall and the bottle nearby.
- Follow the trail behind the wall to the fake rubble.
- Use the Eye of Nehaleni to reveal the hidden cellar.
- Go down to the cellar and find the Allgod.
- Convince the sylvan to change his ways, kill him, or leave him be.
- Talk to the peasants.

Choices
The Allgod is a fat sylvan who has lived for decades on the villagers' gifts. Geralt can kill him. The peasants then react with horror instead of thanks.
Geralt can also argue that rich offerings in a time of famine are wrong. The sylvan gives in after a look at the silver sword. Geralt can instead say nothing more and walk away.
If the sylvan lives, Geralt can tell the peasants about the cellar or keep it quiet. A deal with the sylvan pays 50 crowns. Telling the peasants about the cellar as well adds 50 XP.
