Ancient Elven Sword Map Location and Quest Guide
The pin marks Extreme Cosplay, a Blood and Wine secondary quest that starts by the Doren Alma Estate in Toussaint. There, Gaston tends a dying man on the road. The Ancient Elven Sword is picked up during the quest and stays as a regular sword once the quest ends.
- Speak to Gaston on the road by the Doren Alma Estate, or examine the trail of blood there, and agree to investigate.
- Follow the trail to the estate gate and blast it open with Aard.
- Search the estate with Witcher Senses and follow the smell of burning up the stairs to a locked door.
- Knock on the door and ask Durand, the man hiding inside, for help. Time then skips to midnight.
- Light the six torches in the courtyard.
- Place the elven bread and wine from the chest on the bowls in front of the throne.
- Pick up the Ancient Elven Sword and the elven shield near Gaston and equip them.
- Kneel before Durand on the rug, then defeat the living statues that attack.
