Contract: The Creature from Oxenfurt Forest is a witcher contract near Oxenfurt. Hans of Cidaris, a mercenary, offers a handsome sum to kill the beast nesting in the forest outside the city. Geralt finds that an archgriffin named Opinicus has made its home in a ravine. It is much like the royal griffin of White Orchard, but it can also spit acid.

1. Take the contract from the notice board in Oxenfurt.
2. Talk to Hans, the mercenary, about the contract.
3. Examine the place where the monster attacked with Witcher Senses.
4. Follow the blood trail with Witcher Senses.
5. Follow the ravens with Witcher Senses.
6. Find the griffin's nest.
7. Return after dark, when the griffin is in its nest.
8. Kill the griffin.
9. Take a trophy from the griffin.
10. Return to Hans and collect the reward.

A letter lies in the griffin's lair. It shows that Hans had already taken a contract on this griffin. He was paid in advance, and for far more than he offered Geralt. Geralt can raise the letter with Hans when he collects the reward, or keep quiet about it.
