Gwyhyr is a Relic steel sword from the base game with 3 rune slots. It rolls up to +100 armor piercing and has a 6% chance to cause bleeding. One lies on a corpse in Harrisi's cave during Contract: Missing Brother in Velen. Random copies appear in guarded treasures from level 15 and in caves in Velen and Skellige from level 25, which makes it a mid-game sword.
It also rolls +1-10% Yrden sign intensity and +1-10% crit damage. Each copy rolls its own values, so its armor piercing can land anywhere from 2 to 100.
The bleeding chance adds damage over time to sword hits, which suits a bleeding hybrid build.
How to Get Gwyhyr
- Take Contract: Missing Brother, southwest of the Border Post in Velen.
- In the final chamber of Harrisi's cave, search the Nilfgaardian soldier's corpse in an alcove.
- It also drops as random loot in guarded treasures from level 15, and in some caves in Velen and Skellige from level 25.
