Blueboy Lugos is the son and heir of Madman Lugos, jarl of Clan Drummond in Skellige. He is a young warrior hungry for glory. Geralt helps him through the Cave of Dreams in the secondary quest of the same name.
Lore
Blueboy is Madman Lugos' only child. He is a dour, strapping lad and nothing like his father. His nickname dates from his childhood, when bruises often covered his body. People said they came from the rough games Skellige boys play.
Others suspected the bruises came from his father's belt, rod and fists. Rumor had it that the Madman refused to spoil his only child. He punished the boy harshly for every small mistake and every larger failure.
Story
Thirsty for adventure, Blueboy sets off with his crew to explore the mysterious Cave of Dreams. He has plenty of courage, but little knowledge or experience. Geralt joins him, either at the Madman's request or after finding Blueboy's ship on his own.
Inside the cave, the group eats herbs that bring on visions. In one of them, Blueboy has to face a vision of the Madman. His greatest fear turns out to be his own father. The trip confirms the rumors about the two of them.
Blueboy later dies in the massacre at the feast in Kaer Trolde. People claim that he knocked off one of the beast's heads with a barrel of beer. True or not, that is how the skalds remember him in their songs.
Relationships
Madman Lugos is his father, and the man he fears most. Blueboy's death at the feast fills the Madman with rage.
