Kaer Trolde is the stronghold of Clan an Craite on Ard Skellig, in the Skellige Isles. Crach an Craite, jarl of the clan, is the lord of Kaer Trolde. Its harbour lies west of Rogne and north of Rannvaig. The harbour is the dockyard for the fleet of the Jarl of Skellige. A short, thick stone bridge leads to the heavy gate of the castle.

History
In the main quest Destination: Skellige, Yennefer stays in rooms near Kaer Trolde Castle while she searches for Ciri. Crach an Craite then holds a farewell feast at the castle for the late King Bran. Geralt and Yennefer meet at the castle gates and attend it in the main quest The King is Dead - Long Live the King.
In the secondary quest King's Gambit, a secret passage leads from the castle wine cellar to a Place of Power for the Quen Sign. The passage opens only on the path that sides with Cerys.
