Now or Never is a secondary quest in Novigrad, and a turning point for Geralt and Triss Merigold. The witch hunters have turned the Free City into a slaughterhouse for mages. Triss plans to smuggle every surviving mage out to Kovir, far from the front lines. She asks Geralt to help her get them to the ship.

Choices
Two mages, Berthold and Anisse, have not reported in. Geralt helps decide whether Triss goes after them first. If she does, the pair head to their hideout and fight the witch hunters there. Otherwise they make straight for the mages' hideout.
The last choice comes on the docks after the fight. If Geralt asks Triss to stay, the old feelings between them come rushing back.
If Geralt lets Triss go, their paths part on the docks. The two meet again later, but only ever as friends.
