First he needs help, because his hairdresser and close friend, Jean-Louis Ludovic, has gone missing. The quest opens after The Warble of a Smitten Knight.

Choices
Beau Duvall blames Jean-Louis for a haircut that shamed him. He and his squires are beating the hairdresser in the cave.
If Geralt says this does not seem chivalrous, Duvall challenges him to a duel. Geralt beats the knight and teaches him a lesson. If Geralt says hair grows back, Duvall and his men attack, and Geralt kills them all. Either way, the hairdresser and the poet are grateful.
