Roderick de Dun Tynne
Type	Character
Affiliation	Knight; Lord of Dun Tynne
Location	Toussaint
DLC	Blood and Wine

Roderick is an old knight and the lord of Dun Tynne Castle in Toussaint. He let a gang of bandits into his castle at Syanna's request. Geralt meets him in Blood and Wine, in the main quest Capture the Castle.

Lore

---

Roderick had made many mistakes in his life. Opening his castle to a vandaguild was the worst of them. Syanna, the sister of Duchess Anna Henrietta, talked him into it. She had won his affection and soon had him wrapped around her finger.

Story

---

Geralt storms Dun Tynne with the ducal guard under Captain Damien de la Tour. They are searching for Syanna and Rhena. Inside the walls, Geralt fights Roderick and his men.

The wounded knight knows Syanna well. Yet he has heard nothing of her abduction. He tells Geralt that she is in the keep, on the top floor of the tower. Geralt then chooses whether to help him with his wounds. Helping him counts as Proof of Compassion in the quest There Can Be Only One.

After the castle falls, Anna Henrietta wants Roderick punished for his part.

Relationships

---

Syanna won Roderick's heart and used his castle as her hideout.
