Where the Cat and Wolf Play... is a secondary quest in Velen. It follows Contract: The Beast of Honorton. Once the alghouls are dead, Geralt finds that every villager in Honorton has been murdered. The killer was no monster but a witcher of the School of the Cat. A little girl is the only survivor.

Where the Cat and Wolf Play... map location:
- Kill the alghouls in Honorton.
- Explore the village with Witcher Senses.
- Examine the bodies in the huts and the barn until a little girl runs off.
- Find the girl with Witcher Senses.
- Use Axii on her, or give her the doll.
- Listen to her story.
- Follow the tracks in the stone circle with Witcher Senses.
- Follow the School of the Cat witcher's tracks with Witcher Senses.
- Talk to Gaetan.
- Spare Gaetan, or kill him.
- Escort the girl from Honorton to her relatives in Oreton.

Choices
Gaetan explains why he killed the villagers. They tried to kill him instead of paying for the contract he had finished.
If Geralt spares him, Gaetan goes free. This opens the quest Take What You Want.
If Geralt kills him, Gaetan asks to drink a potion first. Allowing it is a trick, because he throws a bomb that blinds Geralt. Gaetan is a witcher and fights like one.
