Sports Cars
Sports cars are the fastest road cars in Leonida. The class runs from compact tuner coupes to exotic Italian supercars and long-distance grand tourers. Most of these cars belong to Vice City. They cruise its neon-lit main strip, its downtown junctions and the beachfront roads of Vice Beach. A few reach further out, and the 8F Drafter drives the main roads of Ambrosia.
Grotti builds more of the class than any other maker. Its line runs from the classic Cheetah and Cheetah Classic to the modern Furia and Itali GTO. Pfister follows with the Comet coupes and the Growler. Bravado, Invetero, Pegassi, Enus and Annis each add their own cars.
The Cheetah stands out as Grotti's signature sports car, with a wedge shape and pop-up headlamps. The Furia and the Zorrusso are the wild supercars of the class. They race side by side along a Vice City highway. The Coquette D10 brings a mid-engine layout, with its engine behind the seats. The Banshee is one of the longest-running sports cars in the series. The Comet Retro Custom is a favourite base for heavy custom work. The Paragon R and the Itali GTO suit fast, comfortable driving over long distances. The Sugoi is the practical pick, a hot hatch with a hatch at the back.
Not every car in the class has two doors. The Jugular, the Schafter V12 and the V-STR are four-door saloons with sports car power. They carry passengers and still keep the pace of a sports car.
