Aircraft fill the skies over Leonida, from small propeller planes to a huge jumbo jet. Helicopters cross the city and the wild country, and light planes fly over the towns and the islands. Big jets fly in and out of Vice City International Airport.
Buckingham leads the class. It builds the Maverick, the Police Maverick, the SuperVolito and the Shamal. Nagasaki, Mammoth and Jobuilt add their own aircraft.
The Dodo stands out as the island hopper of the class. It rests on large floats, so it takes off from and lands on water. The Maverick is a quick civilian helicopter for travel across Leonida by air. The Police Maverick watches chases from above and follows suspects where patrol cars struggle to reach. The Shamal is the private business jet, and it needs a runway to take off and land. The Jet is the huge four-engine airliner of the class. The Buzzard Attack Chopper is the light attack helicopter. The Sea Sparrow is a small, simple helicopter for short hops. The Duster biplane flies over the towns of Leonida. The Mammatus is a light plane for short private flights.

The Duster is a small propeller biplane. It flies over the towns of Leonida. A Duster flies over Ambrosia in the evening light. Below it, tall factory chimneys pour dark smoke into an orange sky.
The Jet is a huge wide-body passenger airliner. It is a four-engine jumbo jet. The Jet follows the Boeing 747-400 jumbo jet. It has a raised hump over the front of its body and four big engines under the wings. The Jet flew in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online. The AT-400 airliner of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas filled the same role before it.
The Mammatus is a small single-engine plane built by Jobuilt. It is a light aircraft for short private flights.
The Buckingham Maverick is a light civilian helicopter. It is a quick way to travel across Leonida by air. The Maverick follows the Bell 206L LongRanger. It has a rounded glass cabin, a slim tail boom and landing skids. The Maverick flew in Grand Theft Auto IV, Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.
The Sea Sparrow is a light utility helicopter. It is a small, simple machine for short hops through the air. Its shape follows the Sikorsky S-300 light helicopter. The engine and middle section resemble those of the Aerospatiale Alouette II. The Sea Sparrow also flies in Grand Theft Auto Online.
The Buckingham Shamal is a private business jet. It needs a runway to take off and land. The Shamal is a slim twin engine jet. Its engines sit high on the rear of the body. Its wings end in small upturned tips. A Shamal flies low over the giant Vice City sign at Vice City International Airport. Palm trees line the sign under a pink evening sky. The Shamal first flew in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. It came back as a jet in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.
The SuperVolito is a helicopter built by Buckingham. It carries a pilot and passengers above Leonida. The SuperVolito also flies in Grand Theft Auto Online.
