Blackflame Monk Amon is a Spirit Ash in Elden Ring that summons a single mace-wielding Blackflame Monk. It is a late-game find in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree.

Blackflame Monk Amon is the spirit of the first fire monk to turn to the god-slaying black flame. He casts black flame incantations and fights with a mace. His flames deal damage over time based on a share of the target's health. He outclasses Fire Monk Ashes at a higher FP cost.

Stats

Each summon costs 115 FP. It deals Physical and Fire damage. As a renowned spirit it upgrades with Ghost Glovewort.

Combat

Amon casts black flame incantations that deal Fire damage. Many of his attacks carry the black flame burn, which deals extra damage based on the enemy's health. Most of his black flame moves have strong hyperarmor and are rarely interrupted. His mace deals Strike damage up close. He is neither tanky nor mobile, so upgrades to his health help him last.

"Amon swore fealty to the god-slaying black flame, and so became the first fire monk to turn traitor. Or perhaps it is better said that he fled from the Giants' Flame, out of cowardice."

As a renowned spirit it is strengthened with Ghost Glovewort, which Roderika handles at the Roundtable Hold up to +10.
